In this category, we have three subcategories of security related products. Although these three categories of products are different, they are similar in many ways, the most common is that they will 1) alert you to someone or something entering an area, 2) alert you when someone or something exits an area 3) alerts you to any type of motion
Entrance Alerts - Entrance alerts or entry alarms typically chime when activated. The trigger is usually a motion sensor (PIR based) operate by purely mechanical means. The DC1, or EZTone door chime is a mechanical entrance alert, while the DA50L-A is an electrical entrance alert.
Exit Alarms - Many exit alarms may also double as entrance alerts. They can be magnetic door sensors, or panic bars like the Alarm Lock 250.
Motion Detectors - Motion detectors are usually PIR or Passive Infrared Sensors which will signal a receiver when movement is detected.
